Released in 2016, the Nike Hypervenom Phinish II Neymar x Jordan brought together Neymar Jr.'s football heritage with Michael Jordan's legendary basketball legacy. Inspired by one of Neymar's favourite Jordan silhouettes, the Air Jordan 5, this limited-edition Hypervenom features unmistakable details from the iconic basketball shoe.
 
The predominantly black upper is finished with a striking Cement-inspired shark-tooth graphic, while a large Reflective Silver Swoosh takes inspiration from the reflective tongue of the Air Jordan 5. The famous Jumpman logo appears on both the heel and soleplate.
 
The personal details make this pair particularly special. Neymar's iconic number 10 and Michael Jordan's number 23 feature on the heels, representing the two sporting legends, while Neymar's initials and Brazilian heritage are incorporated into the detailing.
 
Technically, the boot is based on the Nike Hypervenom Phinish II, Nike's low-cut agility boot, but features a specially developed upper unique to the Neymar x Jordan edition. The result is a boot that looks considerably different from the standard Hypervenom Phinish II.
 
Neymar was expected to wear the boots during the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, making this collaboration particularly significant in his career.
